Teriyaki Chicken on the Grill

MARINADE

Combine:

-           1/4       cup                  water

2          -           -                       green onions - finely chopped

1          -           cup                  reduced-sodium soy sauce

-           1/4       cup                  molasses (or honey)

-           1/4       cup                  vinegar

2          -           tablespoon       sugar

1          -           tablespoon       fresh grated ginger

3                                              cloves garlic, crushed and chopped

MEAT

2          -                                   boneless chicken breasts

A)  Slice chicken into 1” strips.
B)  Place chicken and marinade in a plastic bag. Refrigerate 30 minutes or overnight.
C)  Preheat grill. Grill chicken 5” from heat for 10 minutes total, turning as required.
D) May substitute chicken with steak strips.
